Nutritional Benefits of barnyard millet/kuthiraivali rice:
kuthiraivali rice is 6 times more nutritious than wheat. Rich in Protein, fiber, minerals and
iron compared to all other grains. Good for Heart Related problems, Anemic,
Mensural Disorder and Diabetics.
Ingredients:
- Kuthiraivalli rice - 1 cup
- small onion - 2 nos
- Cumin/Jeera - few
- Curry leaves - few
- Salt as per your taste
- Water - 2 cups
Method:
Soak the kuthiraivali rice for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a heavy bottomed container and cook on a medium flame for about 5 mins.
If you feel the consistency is thick add some more water to the kanji and wait for the bubble to come. Now switch of the stove. Transfer it to a tumbler and have a healthy breakfast.
