Its the right season where we see loads of watermelon on the roadside. Its really awesome to watch these watermelon in bundles. I could not restrict myself in purchasing these melons whenever I cross these roadside shops while riding in my scooter.
Health Benefits:
Watermelons are mostly water — about 92 percent — but this refreshing fruit is soaked with nutrients. Each juicy bite has significant levels of vitamins A, B6 and C, lots of lycopene, antioxidants and amino acids. There's even a modest amount of potassium.
Ingredients:
- Watermelon - 1 cup
- lemon - 1 small size
- Ice cubes
- Lemonade Syrup
Method:
Preparation of Watermelon Lemonade:
Take one whole cup of watermelon and add it to a blender. You can add little water to get a juicy consistency.
Take a large glass add ice cubes, then add watermelon puree over it, and as a topping add 1/4 cup of lemonade to it and stir slightly. Garnish with fresh thin lemon slices.
